Uncapped Westpac Altitude Rewards points. There are many ways to earn Altitude Points with Westpac. You’ll earn 6 points every $1 spent with Qantas, Jetstar, Emirates and Singapore Airlines up to $10,000 per month and then 1.25 points per $1 spent with other airlines after that. Earn 2 Points per $1 spent on David Jones, Myer, Spotify Premium, Uber and Uber Eats. Earn up to 1.25 Points per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases.

Priority Pass airport lounge access. This card will give you complimentary access to the Priority Pass lounge and you’ll get two free visits as well. Associates have access to the resort’s lounge, which offers free snacks, drinks and other services.

Rates & fees of Westpac Altitude Black Credit Card

Annual fee. This card doesn’t include any sign-up promotions and you’ll have to pay an annual fee of $250 p.a. You might want to consider this before applying, as the rewards may not be worth it if you don’t plan on using them in your day-to-day life.

Purchase interest rate. Variable interest rates on purchases are 19.99% p.a

Interest-free period. Pay in full by the due date and you’ll be eligible for interest-free finance on your purchases for up to 45 days. Keep in mind there are a few types of interest-free days: those that are separate from any longer-term promotions, plus the monthly payment balance on top of any current balance transfers.

Cash advance rate. The variable interest rate on a cash advance is 21.49% p.a

Credit limit. The minimum credit limit is $15,000

Foreign transaction fee. Foreign conversion fees of 3% are imposed on purchases made through international retailers

It only takes 10 minutes to apply for the Westpac Altitude Black Card online. You’ll receive a response within 60 seconds of completing your application so that you can then enrol in a card account. To start the application process, you will need to meet the eligibility requirements and gather all your qualifying documents.

New cards only. If you want to benefit from our bonus offer, you can’t have held any of the following cards between 12 months ago and right now: Altitude Classic, Altitude Platinum, Altitude Black, Earth Classic, Earth Platinum.

Income. To be eligible to apply, you must make at least $75,000 per year.

Residency. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident currently living in Australia.

Age. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Eligible balance transfer debt. You can transfer from $200 up to 80% of your available credit limit from up to 3 Australian credit, charge or store cards not issued by Westpac.

Documents required for the request

Personal details. You are to disclose the following information: full name, email address, residential address, date of birth, driver’s licence number, marital status, number of dependents and contact number

Employment details. You’ll need to provide some information about your current work status, such as your job title and wage, as well as your employer’s contact details. A recent salary slip or bank statement will help to verify how much you’re earning. Accountant details are required for self-employed customers, as well as recent tax assessment notices.
